We believe that Information Communication Technologies (ICT) has a significant role to play in the advancement of equal opportunities. Hatua is committed to bridging the digital divide by promoting and encouraging the use and enjoyment of ICT by all as a tool for socio‐economic development.
Mission
Hatua is a Community Interest Company based in the Lancaster area. We strive to remove the socio‐economic barriers that prevent organizations and individuals from utilising ICT to fulfil their potential. We do this by promoting the transformative nature of ICT and by providing capacity building, ICT training and digital content and services to Voluntary and Community Organisations (VCOs), socially excluded people and Small‐to‐Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that need it most.
